Nicola Calathopoulos

Nicola Calathopoulos (Alexandria, Egypt Oct. 17, 1960), a journalist with a degree in philosophy from Università Statale di Milano, was deputy director of “Sportmediaset,” “Tg4,” “NewsMediaset” and “Tgcom24.” He has won the Coni-Ussi journalism award and the “Maestrelli” award. He currently edits the weekly column E-Planet for Mediaset and is among the authors of the series, between sports and crime, Gioco sporco aired on Italia1. His first novel Dannati per sempre (Edizioni Minerva) was a finalist at the Premio Internazionale di Letteratura Città di Como 2021, Special Prize at the Premio Letterario I Sassi di Matera 2021 and received Special Mention at the Premio Letterario Internazionale Casinò di Sanremo-Antonio Semeria. His second novel Testimone imperfetta (Minerva Editions) is now in bookstores.
