Davide Allegri (1974) architect, graduated with honors at the Politecnico di Milano in 2002; in 2009 he obtained, at the same University, the Post Graduate Doctorate Research (Ph.D.) in Design and Technologies for the Enhancement of Cultural Heritage with a thesis entitled: The Landscape as a Cultural Asset. Theories, Innovations and Technologies for the Definition of an Operational Tool for the Enhancement and Use of Environmental Resources and in the 2016, at the the Politecnico di Milano, the Specialization in Architectural and Landscape Heritage.
From 2016 to 2019 he was the Project Leader of the working group of the Politecnico di Milano which supported the FIGC and UEFA in the candidacy phase (BID_2019) and organization of the final phase of the U21-2019 European Championships in Italy.
From 2020 to 2021 he was the coordinator of the research group for the “Safe Standing” project for the U.E.F.A.
From 2022 to 2023 he was the coordinator of the research group “Sports Infrastructures” supporting the candidacy of the Italian Football Federation to host the European Football Championships 2032 in Italy (BID_2032)
Since 2017 he has been the Scientific Coordinator and Vice-Director of the International Master in Sport Design and Management organized by the Politecnico di Milano in synergy with the Graduate School of Management (GSOM-POLIMI).
Since March 2022 he has been full-researcher at the Department of Architecture, Construction Engineering and Built Environment and since 2021 he has been teacher in the Architecture Construction Laboratory (School of Architecture, Urban Planning and Construction Engineering).
He is author of several essays and articles published in the main national and international journals and reviews.
He currently carries out design and research activities with particular reference to technological innovation, the redevelopment and enhancement of sport infrastructures.
