Research and publications: approximately 250 articles on the following topics: fluid structure interaction, vehicle substructure interaction, cable vibrations, electromechanical interaction, through image processing, new evaluation techniques, optical fiber and MEMS detection, acoustic , structural health monitoring, safety and, fight against crime, renewable energies, protection of cultural heritage, protection for human health, interaction between human structure.
Main information: Member of the Board of Directors of the Politecnico di Milano (2004-2010) – associate editor of experimental techniques.
Holder of 7 patents: 6 international.
Principal researcher of the project for the monitoring of the Meazza stadium in Milan since 2003.
