“The Master in Sport Design and Management has been the end of a journey started during my years at Polimi. While fascinated by the architectural aspects of the stadia from my academic education, the master allowed me to explore in detail the whole world they resides behind professional sports. From facility management to sustainability, the course dwells deep on all this topics and most of all, granted me the possibility to become passionate about them, to the point that one of the hardest things was to decide which one develop into a thesis. Moreover, having the possibility to visit iconic venues while seeing directly how the work behind the curtains is something that a real sport fan simply cannot miss. Further amazing opportunity was the chance to work on my thesis in direct contact with FIGC, even beyond the simple research, on a topic that I never imagined working on like UEFA competitions standards.
