One of the most significant events of our course took place last week in the prestigious Aula Magna of the Politecnico di Milano. The conference, entitled “Sports Infrastructures and Circular Economy: Sustainable Technologies & Innovative Management Practices” featured contributions from international academic experts and professionals who explored the potential applications of circular economy principles in the design and management of sports infrastructures. During the event, we discussed various case studies, including Tynecastle Park in Edinburgh, the Flaminio Stadium in Rome, stadiums in Australia, the Taiwan National Stadium, Stade de la Meinau, Climate Pledge Arena, Stadium 974, Aarhus GF, Benito Villamarín Stadium, and many others.
