One of the best aspects of our Master is its multidisciplinarity. To demonstrate this, in the coming days we will start a series of lectures with Simone Masserini entitled: How to integrate sustainability in the event design and management. 

Masserini is an experienced project manager specializing in large-scale events. His role involves seamlessly integrating environmental practices into the entertainment and sports industries. With over 20 years of global event experience, he has managed everything from creativity and budgets to operations and spectator experiences. While global events captivate audiences and communities, they also contribute to environmental issues through resource-intensive activities. Despite the growing sustainability trend, the event industry struggles to adopt eco-friendly practices. However, he believes shifting toward sustainability is crucial for gaining a competitive advantage, appealing to eco-conscious audiences, fostering community engagement, complying with upcoming laws, and showing commitment to the planet.
