“Sport and stadiums have always been my greatest passion, and taking part in this Master’s course was the crowning achievement of a long and beautiful journey that took me inside the world of football, through lectures with world-class speakers, direct experience through match days, inspections and workshops in cult venues like Coverciano, from which I learnt so much. Personally, I consider it one of the best experiences one can have in the academic sphere, but also in the human sphere, especially thanks to the group of exceptional colleagues and lecturers. The knowledge and contacts I acquired during the Master’s course led me first to develop a thesis on the stadium in my city, Palermo, and finally to work for the same football club in the role of Facility Assistant, a role that allows me to take care of the management and development of several infrastructures such as the sports centre and stadium”.
